WHEW!!!

I had to come up for some air from my suffocating pile of bubble wrap and fragile stickers!!

This weekend/week has been so crazy! ( In a good way!) Lots of orders and just an overall positive vibe from everyone. Love it! :) :) :)

So. Birthday summary!

First, we went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival!! FUN FUN FUN!!

I thought these little girls watching jousting had really pretty crowns!

We were shocked when they were actually hitting each other! Kind of scary...

Rich was on a mission for a chocolate-covered banana. We FINALLY found it. YESS!

Here he is trying to avoid my camera as he takes a big bite of the banana!! HA AHAHAHA!

Clever.

This woman had the CUTEST BIRD EVER!? I think it was some sort of conure? Anyone know?

I got roses :) I asked Rich if he knew yellow roses meant friendship. He said no ... but thought I was probably getting sick of red ones :) :)

Here we are all dressed up for my fancy birthday dinner. We clean up nice.

WEEKEND UPDATE:

Birthday weekend was a success! Rich loved his Kindle---he was playing with it at work today---and we had a lovely picnic on Sunday afternoon! While we were staging this photo op--there was an older couple who was hiking past and I *think* we offended them with our PDA...pahahhaaha :)



Then dinner at The Melting Pot (yyyyuuuumm).

For those of you who do not know of the wonder that is The Pot (as I shall henceforth refer to it)--- it is an entirely fondue restaurant!

So, you sit with a pot on your table and dip stuff in cheese, then you cook your meat in a wine/garlicy base...THEN..(o man o man) THE DESSERT!

Here is what it roughly looks like:



You get a chocolate sauce (our's was tiramisu) and you dunk in pound cake, brownies, cheesecake, marshmallows, rice crispie treats, strawberries.... sorry...drooling.....

Okay--back to my life.

WHEW! wow. I have not been sick in so long --- I totally forgot how bad it sucks! And I think it was a bit worse since I was "on my own" for the first time. I had no one to complain to when I couldn't breathe out my nose and my mouth got dry!! (don't you hate that?)

But, I'm just about all better now, thanks to our friends DayQuil and Sudafed. :) I'm a little worried though, because as I'm typing this, I'm eating an old piece of pizza that MAY or MAY NOT have turned bad. So, maybe I'll be sick all again tomorrow!! ha!

BIRTHDAY:

I felt so old. I was totally bummed out. But it was a really nice day and a fun visit with the family!!

Here is sweet little Ella. She finally started to warm up to me a bit after we shared Cheerios, and I played with her in the bath (sink) and playing peek-a-boo. I love her!! And I hope she remembers who the heck I am :) 

Here is my big sis (momma) Amanda! (Do you mind me putting your pics on here??? hahah too late!!) 

She is sitting with Lucy, my parent's little dog. Lucy thinks she should always be the center of attention, so everyone oo-ing and ah-ing over the baby was torture for the poor pooch!!

Poor Etsy is suffering, too! I need to get to work on Christmas stuff. Do you think people will actually wear a Christmas/holiday crown?? I'm thinking I would for a party or New Years maybe....

I just wanted to post this here ... it kind of sums up my situation at the moment :) Anyways, I might not be blogging for a bit because it's MY BIRTHDAY and my big sis and baby niece are coming to visit!! yah yah yah!!!

It's coming!! My birthday!!

I will be the big 2-6 and to celebrate, I will be hanging out with my mom, dad, sister and baby niece, ELLA!! yyay!

So, now onto the details: The outfit!

I recently bought this fantastic vintage dress--it's kind of crinkly taffeta material, but silkier feeling, and has a big flower on the front. I love it.

So it may be a bit fancy for dinner, but hey, it's my birthday!

On a side note----here's a new friend: I will call him "stinky." He was hanging out on a plant.
