bbuuuuuuhhhh ......

I've been sick.

UGHH!!!

It started with these weird bumps on my neck ... and I thought "that can't be good." And it wasn't. Had a KILLER sinus infection and couldn't even do Etsy!!!

It was a good thing I had some time off work anyway, but it sucked that all I could do with my time off was sit on the couch and watch movies. Normally, this is my ideal activity ... but when you're sick ... nothing is fun.

My bird, Caesar, was my only entertainment when there was nothing to watch on TV and I was out of good movies. Here he is giving some love to his mirror. Such a narcissistic bird.

I'm just about at 100% now ... got some sweet antibiotics (just in time to go back to work.) SIGH. Ah well. I am thankful that I can taste food and breath through my nose again :)

OOOHHH. I want to make a new video but and out of ideas.....Any suggestions for some sort of tutorial video???

WHEW!!!

I had to come up for some air from my suffocating pile of bubble wrap and fragile stickers!!

This weekend/week has been so crazy! ( In a good way!) Lots of orders and just an overall positive vibe from everyone. Love it! :) :) :)

So. Birthday summary!

First, we went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival!! FUN FUN FUN!!

I thought these little girls watching jousting had really pretty crowns!

We were shocked when they were actually hitting each other! Kind of scary...

Rich was on a mission for a chocolate-covered banana. We FINALLY found it. YESS!

Here he is trying to avoid my camera as he takes a big bite of the banana!! HA AHAHAHA!

This woman had the CUTEST BIRD EVER!? I think it was some sort of conure? Anyone know?

I got roses :) I asked Rich if he knew yellow roses meant friendship. He said no ... but thought I was probably getting sick of red ones :) :)

Here we are all dressed up for my fancy birthday dinner. We clean up nice.

on the road again

Well, it's another end of a week (almost) and I'm back on the road. My birds are going to be so lonesome. I feel bad.

Here they are (below) taking a bath at my old house. The little tykes.

I am headed up to my parent's house tonight, straight after work. Then laundry and quality time there. Then back to work for one more lovely Saturday. Then my fella's on Sunday. Then off to the Thrift Shop to volunteer with mom on Monday. Then (maybe) off to Rockville to see Twilight with Amanda that night.

WHEW!!!!

My poor little car is going to get a workout. Speaking of which --I think I need an oil change!
