Getting too old for this.

For those long-time followers of my blog, you know I'm a big Harry Potter nerd.

And the (almost) culmination of my fan experience happened very VERY early this morning :)

We went to the midnight showing of Part I of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" (the last installment in the series.)

It was pretty great. All around -- GREAT. I loved it. The pace might have been a little slow,  but all things considered, I give it 4 out of 5 stars :)

My favorite part was the animation in the middle of it for the "tale of the three brothers." It was this amazing silhouette-style.

The worst part was having to see it in a theatre full of people who were TALKING. But whatever, I'm just an old grumper :)

YES. I go to William and Mary in Virginia, and so many students from our campus wanted to go that they decided to run late buses.

Completely agree with your assessment, one nerd to another.

:) you're so cute! I asked my husband the other day if he thought the Harry Potter books would become "classics" and he 100% said YES!
