one caveat for beginners who want to get serious-- it doesn't have a zipper foot (almost all sewing machines have this function). after four months with this machine, i am already needing to upgrade to another machine (between 200-300$) just so i can sew zippers into skirts and on little clutches.
so if you ever want to sew zippers, be aware you could get something for about $50 more! definitely not as cute as hk however :)
