ReplyDeleteit's been said already but the comb is beautiful, you always make such pretty things.
Hi Emily I am Kimberly your #1 clothing fan . I want to purchase hair accessories too... just haven't yet. When I was in high school ten years ago,at pep assembies, each class would shout out the year they'd graduate. What is ironic is I would shout out "double O double O,double double double O". Now that you challenged me to think it totally makes sence that I was predestined to graduate that year because in first grade I was held back. Not that I care. In kindergarten I remember standing in front of the class to present my drawing of captain O. We learned letters and they'd have special meanings to go with them. In this case Captain O and we'd do a chant which I can't remember. I do remember eating Cheerios though! So yes I stood in front of class with my Captain O portrait. I had all eyes of fellow classmate and teachers on me and excitedly presented by saying,"this is Captain O and his broder " I bet I stood there with cheesy smile and paper in hands close to my heart. The teacher responded, "huh?" I repeated my self "this is Captain O and his broder" again she confusingly asked "what?" I don't know how long it took to figure me out I kept repeating Broder ,broder. Then her eyes lit "oh, brother! ". So with those oh/o's known in my life and I create o'items in my stay shop circlesareforever.etsy.com ,I came to the decision to say Two'o One'o. Pronounced as oh. So the class'o 2010 can shout in harmony ONE Oh ONE oh ONE ONE ONE oh!
ReplyDeleteIt's great, I'd love to win it :-)
ReplyDeleteEmily you rock!!
Kisses
Chiara

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I will stick with the ol' standard, but I always hear people reference 2012 as Twenty-twelve, I may have to covert.
Anyway, great work, I will eventually cave and splurge on one of your gorgeous headbands/tiaras. Damn you high cost of text books..

I definitely say two thousand ten.
ReplyDeleteAlso, your stuff is so awesome. I've been drooling and trying to find an excuse to buy one, but have no occasion for it. I'm thinking my sister's wedding in the summer will be the perfect reason to buy one.
Twenty-ten, and I found your blog looking for vintage hair flowers for a lovely friend who just did a children's jazz album. We took our little girl to her concert tonight and she was all sparkly in her vintage pink beaded dress, but her dark curls needed a little something. This would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll be saying twenty-ten, it's shorter. :) What a beautiful comb! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletewishing you health, wealth, and time to enjoy both! Beautiful comb:)
ReplyDeleteThat comb is so beautiful. I think I'll say twenty-ten because it's fastest, but I like the sound of two thousand and ten better. Maybe I'll take the time to say two thousand and ten and make this a year to slow down...
ReplyDeleteB-E-A-Utiful!
ReplyDelete"Two thousand ten" will, most likely, generally be my immediate verbal reaction when speaking of this year in numeric form...
Anyway, I hope you have a magical year of delights!
